Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed about the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The support place produced for intervention activities a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and increase entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
